The good: Best place for coffee and muffins in the area. Generous coffee sizes and friendly staff. Great atmosphere to sit in a relatively private room and view the art on the walls. The not so good: limited parking slots

The MOST DELICIOUS VEGGIE BEAN BURGER you EVER tasted! Love this place! My husband likes their beef burger but even a potatoes and meat guy says for a veggie burger it is good. My health nut daughter says this is the best VEGGIE burger she EVER ate and she ONLY eatsout at healthywhole food places, a VERY PICKY YOGA instructor andnurse. The soft bun they use is from the local bakery, not some doughy cheap bun. Try the beet lemonade when in season too. SO yummy! I like their quiche too. I am a very picky eater too. The coffee is yummy too. My husband and I have hand grinded and made our own bean coffee forOVER 30 years at home so you know weARE picky about our coffee. The salads and soups I have ate are yummy too. NEVER ate a bad food in this restaurant. We come fromCarriere areaevery month or 2 to eat here for the last few years and will continue coming here. Atmosphere is awesome too with the friendly staff and antique building and table and chairs.

One of my favorite spots to grab fresh coffee! Love the art they do in the coffee too. They have breakfast items and a few hamburgers and sandwiches as well as draft beer that look yummy, but it’s coffee only at 8am for this girl. If you work in The Bay, this is the place to get your cup of morning java.

I love coming her on Second Saturday’s to escape the heat and grab a cold beer. It’s the perfect place to relax after running around Bay St. Louis for the day. I don’t always eat here, but when I do, I highly recommend the Mockingburger. It’s big, filling, tasty and has just enough of a kick to it to justify ordering another beer. If you ever find yourself in down town Bay St. Louis, I highly recommend that you check out the Mockingbird Cafe, you won’t regret it.

    Excellent crustless quiche.

Love this place!!. We have always loved the Mockingbird and make it a point to drive over from Gulfport a couple of times a month. Food, coffee, and beer selection were always good. We ESPECIALLY love it now that there’s a new chef!! The food is amazing and so creative! Lemon feta cookies?? Who would’ve thought? Anyway, well worth a visit. My only complaint is that you’re not closer to us!

‘CREATED EQUAL’. Have been a few times and enjoyed the quaint atmosphere. The coffee and desserts were however extremely expensive. That being said I did not mind spending the $ occasionally due to the ‘charming’ atmosphere. The last time I went was an exception. The tall, thin lady that waited on my husband and I acted as if she hated our being there. We are decent people and to my knowledge did not smell. She would not look at us and practically threw our choices at us. What bewildered me was the next couple that did smell (reeking of alcohol frankly) was greeted with open arms. She couldn’t smile enough. Would just think if it is portrayed as down home charm it should be ‘good for all’.
