Waitress was great and provided good service. Food however was mediocre at best… very bland. Caribbean food is supposed to have spice to it. My Red Curry Shrimp had no curry that I could taste and the shrimp tasted rubbery like they had been frozen. To top it off…. they charge 4% if you use a credit card. What is this 1985? Will not eat there again.
So wonderful to discover that Chappy is back and with even greater flavor! We started with fantastic nachos with ultra thin chips so flavorful, we both had the Mahdi special with the great Jamacain flavor, finished up with the famous praline bread pudding and praline cheesecake wow, I told Chappy that we will be back and bring others.

Great variety for all tastes. We had the fried plantains, red shrimp curry, and tacos (mole, shrimp, jerk chicken). For desert, the rum cake. Every thing was good. The jerk sauce is well made. Perfect blend of all spice–not too much. The menu is a nice change of pace given how similar every other restaurant is in town. Can’t wait to go back; especially once football season kicks off. Lots of tvs and a good atmosphere.
