(The one star given is for the asteroid that obviously crashed through the roof and destroyed the staff’s remaining professionalism and know how to run a business ) We were one of 3 tables at 1:00 in the afternoon . When we were seated we were overwhelmed by the noise BLARING from a table but feet away . The male sitting there was fooling with his phone . The garbage / jumbled mess that was coming from it can only be described as a nauseating mixture of ghetto / Jetson’s cartoons . When I suggested to the waitress that either whoever that is trying his best to clear the place of the 3 tables with the rude obnoxious noise turn it off or we were leaving , she seemed dumbfounded and nervous about having to pass my comment on to Mr. Social Graces . It wasn’t long before finding out why the server may have been whacked out stupid by my comment . The person with the obnoxious phone habits ? TURNED OUT TO BE EITHER THE MANAGER AND / OR OWNER . She approached him , they shared a little giggle about my suggestion and turned it off . Had it been just me and not with my girlfriend who had been wanting to try the placed out , I would have told him where to stick his play toys , go back to school to learn some professionalism and gratitude toward your customers ESPECIALLY when you have only 2 more tables in the joint , but hey , based on the other very similar comments about the place here and other sites , keep it up , pal . When you grow up and have your 16th birthday , maybe mommy and daddy can help you decide between being a fireman or a veterinarian . Locals who support this joke of a place and think that’s it all that SERIOUSLY need to get out more and see what a quality , grown up and sincere restaurant is like . Keep it up , Master Mix a Lot . It’s only a matter of time .
We have been eating here occasionally for years. Sometimes it is so good and then other times it is cold or the food is over doneand so dry you can barely choke it down. You never know if the portions are going to be enough or if you will take some home. Their menu the last few years is the same old same old. The staff runs lukewarm and not overly friendly with not paying much attention to the orders to be sure they are right. I have ate here and enjoyed the food verymuch but for the prices I’d rather eat somewhere else and KNOW the food will be good.
I ate there last night with my boyfriend and another friend. We were so hungry and looking forward to a good burger! We all ordered one and two of them were suppose to be cooked medium well. They were all overcooked and were like eating shoe leather! The fries were by far better than the burger! The last time I ate there I ordered the fish tacos and they were a big disappointment for the price! I don’t know when I will eat there again! Too many other restaurants in the area!
Tonight my family and I ate at trapanis eatery located in the the beautiful downtown bsl. The atmosphere was great! I had the trout eatery and my husband had the fish tacos but we started with the crab cakes and spinach and artichoke dip. Our taste buds were exploding! The food was divine. But I have to say the best part about it was our server Kelly. She did a great job taking care of us. I definitely recommend anyone try it out if they’re ever looking to eat downtown!
Trapani’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Bay St. Louis. I al always pleased with the quality of the food and the wonderful location. The fried green tomatoes are the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing thru the area.

Best food ever fishtacos were awesome my server Kelly was phenomenal. Will be back soon. Location is great sat up stairs had the best view of the harbor.
