  • As far as buffets it's pretty good. Went for Saturday brunch. They had a huge variety, almost too much to choose from. Being near the coast I thought …

  • Terrible! DO NOT waste your $$!. We love casino buffets and enjoy them often on the coast. This was our first (and last) experience with the IP buffet…

How to ruin your vacation in 3 days at the IP !. If you go to the barbecue, don’t get the meat or cole slaw- both hard and dry.If you go to the Asian, don’t get the sushi. If you go to get rolls- no substance no flavor. If you go get shrimp- mushy and no seasoning. If you go to to the dessert bar- the ice cream was actually soupy, the cake was spongy(never had that happen before),biscotti-absolutely no flavor. The bread pudding was not bad. If you ask yourself why so many desserts, because after paying $22 , I felt I should not leave the dining room hungry. I didn’t . I filled my stomach trying to find just one item that had flavor. A waste of time ,money, and stomach space!

The food looked great, but tasted just okay. The ribs and the potatoes were the best things available. Fish was dry,& shrimp overcooked & rubbery. It was terribly expensive for what they served.

The best of the Casinos—. For casino buffet food, this is one of our favorites in Biloxi–Now if they would just get rid of the smoking aspect of the place it would be the best!

Excellent dungenous crabs. The Imperial Palace (IP) weekend seafood buffet is absolutely the best buffet I have been to. The dungenous crabs are huge, steamed perfectly with a highlight of pepper and rich, briny flavor. You could taste the sea in those crabs. The snow crabs were good as well, and they cracked perfectly. No rubbery snow crabs here. There is too much too list here with this expansive buffet, but I will try. There is a bbq station with smoky baby back ribs—real tender clams and mussels, both stewed in a Chinese sauce, mouthwatering and tender. The carving station has the best prime rib I have tasted. The meat was moist, peppery, and the crust was seasoned well with butter. They had an Italian section with oysters Rockefeller and oysters Bienville, also stuffed clams. They had a Cajun section with dirty rice, crawfish etoufee, and seafood pasta, and gumbo. They had a comfort food section with fried catfish, shrimp, fried chicken, corn on the cob; that kind of stuff. For dessert, there were 20 kinds of pies, pralines, benyets, ice cream, and even a latt machine, which you can make your self. Best of all, the service is second to none. You are greeted beginning with the entrance cashier to all servers and bus persons. Every one had a smile on their face, and every one thanked you for dining with them. Your drink glass stayed full, and their were no empty plates on your table. In conclusion, I highly recommend the dungenous crab buffet on Fridays and Saturday nights.Daryll BTexas

If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to all…. All of the casino buffets are the same. Expensive and low quality. Long lines and endless supply of mushy cheesecake, brown lettuce, and frozen shrimp.
