My wife and I went here for the first time to enjoy a Sunday brunch. We walked in , we were greeted and seated. We were told our waitress will be right with us. We waited 5 minutes, no problem, we waited 10 minutes, getting aggravated, still no one has even addressed us, no water, no be right there, at 12 minutes a table of 4 sat next to us. The same lady who sat us sat them, ok at 14 minutes that table had water being poured and drink orders being taken. After debating if we were next, 16 minutes of the worst service and tired of being ignored, we walked out. I will probably not give second chance and won’t be back. This was non excusable for a supposedly classy place. Sorry for not being one of your regulars that’s obviously who got attended to first.
The food was ok but nothing special & my service was nice. This is advertised as a fine dining restaurant but I found the majority of seating were booths which I found off putting as it gave it a casino feel. Went on a Sunday for brunch & was disappointed to find only breakfast items. Located inside of a beautiful hotel but I feel it’s more lipstick & rouge rather than an exceptional dining experience.
Dinner on 4/29/16: Absolutely, the worst. If you like to throw money away, and leave hungry, then this place is for you. This place is an absolute JOKE! I ordered Red Fish. I promise you, I received two pieces of fish (not even the size of a quarter), that even tasted fishy. McDonald’s could of cooked it better. 2 people, 2 entrees, 1 side, no salad, no drinks (except warm water), and 1 desert = $107.41Live and learn…my learning = saving you the trip and the embarrassment, if you are taking someone you like to dinner. If you don’t like them, then this is a great place to send them.
Excellent breakfast on Sunday morning. Usual breakfast fare well prepared, plus brunch items including po’ boys. Dinner menu looks excellent.
Lovely. Simply lovely. The atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated, and the moment you walk in, you know you are in for a very special evening. The wine bar has infinite choices. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and very efficient. The blackened red fish was divine, sitting atop a tasso and roasted root vegetable hash. The combo bite was to die for! Buttery, salty, just delicious! I ate every bite! Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I plan to spend special occasions for many years to come at this first class eatery. Well done, Ms. Cora. Thank you for bringing your delightful talents to our little city!
Overpriced considering the quality of product. I’ve now been twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Bloody mary was not good. Last night I paid around $150 with tip and the mahi was overcooked, dry, and fishy tasting. It was one of the worst pieces of mahi I’ve ever tasted. My girlfriend could not even eat it. The seafood pasta had ~3 shrimp and tiny bits of scallops throughout. For nearly $30 I want to see more shrimp and some more whole scallops. They do have some good drinks. The carrot cake was good. The prime rib sandwich is good at lunch. However, I left disappointed the last two times and likely won’t be back.
OMG. Slow slow slow service 3 tables seated 30 minutes later stil no food or appetizers
