  Previous visits: excellent service/food. This time not. Reservation 12/25 for nine. 12/24 manager approval, two diners added. CQ opened and seated at 5:00. Reviewed menus: prix fix, regular and wine. Waited for drinks. Two ordered bottles of wine. Drinks finally arrived, one bottle incorrect. Third bottle ordered. Waitress took food order. Of eleven, nine chose from prix fix the other two regular. Third bottle delivered hour later. 1 hours before anything besides bread. CQs specialty appetizer, tasty – quality inconsistent. The hostess asked by one irritated diner, to see manager. Manager was too busy. The soup had skim which proved unappetizing. Meals finally arrived. Waitress never came back to check. Most of food was excellent. One prime rib dinner cold/returned where it was microwaved. Servers disappeared, water or beverages not refilled or dishes cleared. Finally dessert -was good. Little criticism of food. Another diner asked waitress to find manager to get satisfaction for poor service/meal issues. Casino Host located, listened to concerns, spoke to Chef de Cuisine. Four meals comped. (Table of two, near us, confirmed they had same issues). I was upset after bringing ten people for a Christmas meal lasting FOUR hours. Little thought given to customers by management, waitress or servers. Restaurant not full at any time. Security came to make sure I wasnt going ballistic. Over the top! 65 minutes for checks and process of payments. Of eleven diners, five had not visited CQ. Five, plus others, will not return. Two professional restaurant owners: They had never seen anything like it before. CQ not comfortable or able to provide service to a large table. Only two wait staff and two servers for entire restaurant. Management not available. I wish they had not accepted our reservation. CQ should not open for holidays or limit the number of diners to those they can happily serve.

  Wonderful Food. Went to CQ for birthday dinner. Service was outstanding, but the food surpassed all expectations. Had two crabmeat appetizers which were abundant with lump white crab meat and delicious. Blackened redfish entree was seasoned perfectly and wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant .

  This is one of my favorite places to eat on the coast. The view is great; the food is better. You pay more for better quality.
