We arrived at the Hard Rock yesterday and grabbed a bite to eat at Half Shell before hitting the tables. We had a dozen raw oysters and two Rainbow Rolls. Both were excellent and the service was exceptional.
It was a decent meal while out at the casino, definitely better than any of the buffets. Crab cake appetizer was very small, but good and fresh. My half shell shrimp pasta was good, but the shrimp was not as high quality as I would have liked. My husbands side, the new potatoes, were literally swimming in oil. We came in towards closing and the waiter seemed to rush us but was attentive.

My friend that lives in the area suggested that we visit the half she’ll oyster house at the hardrock and it was a great suggestion. We had a awesome waiter named Aaron and the food was to die for! I highly recommend the crab cake and voodoo shrimp appatizers !! The red fish was also very tasty! Excellent overall dining experience and can’t wait to return!29 Mar, 2015Excellent Choice!. We heard about the restraunt from a friend that lives in the area and it was a great suggestion! We recieved excellent service from our waiter named Aaron and the food was all so delicious!! I highly recommend the crab cakes and voodoo shrimp app. The red fish was also very tasty! Excellent overall dining experience!
Make sure you try the oyster sampler platter-it’s phenomenal! The royal reds, half shell salad w/ house vin and sweet potato cream brulee are great!
Great food and an open atmosphere. Try the Voodoo Shrimp or the Shrimp Orleans(ask for extra bread for the killer sauce).
