Le Bakery hardly needs any endorsement. The food speaks for itself. Like other reviewers, I’ve been very impressed with the banh mi. They taste soooo fresh. Their bread is killer. I don’t like sweet foods but hear wonderful things about the pastries. We have since left the area and I really miss this place!

Seriously, hands-down, no-kidding, the best Banh Mi that I’ve ever had. I’ve had tons of it too. Lol.They bake their own bread and they don’t play with portions. The banh mi is stuffed with a hefty serving of meats, pickles veggies, fresh veggies, etc. And it is packed with flavor.I ordered two different entrees, a dessert croissant (which, btw was also heavenly), and a bottle of water for only $13. For two meals and dessert, that is not bad at all! They also serve bubble tea, so I will have to come back and try some.I noticed the menu pics were a bit blurry, so I tried to retake them. Hopefully they are a little bit clearer/better. Haha.Definitely check this bakery out, and try the Thit Nuong Nem Nuong (the combo pork/Viet sausage sandwich)!Definitely worth the visit. (: I can not recommend this bakery enough.

Steamed Pork Dumpling, Curry Coconut Chicken Curry Po’Boy, Almond Pastry. The pork dumpling was out of this world! Succulent pork inside with freshly steamed dumpling outside. The po’boy was a grand experiment in Vietnamese – NOLA fusion. We finished with a heavenly fresh out of the oven almond pastry. You don’t have to be a chef to enjoy the blending of savory and sweet gems awaiting you at Le Bakery and Cafe on Oak Street near the Ohr-O’Keefe museum.

Excellent Banh Mi!. I think the bread here is better than what’s available at Dong Phuong in New Orleans East. Had the Thit Nuoung Banh Mi. Fantastic grilled pork, too.
