I couldn’t have asked for a better meal and server than I had tonight at Ruth’s Chris in the Hard Rock in Biloxi. The ahi tuna appetizer is absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted. The favors are so delicious and flavorful, it’s hard to believe. My steak was perfect as was the creamed spinach . Also, our server, Brittany, was the best server! What a great meal and service!
Ehhh…. Food was good…my date ordered a top shelf bourbon and they didn’t have it, so the waitress (upon her own decision) substituted it with a well scotch. She was pleasant, but not the caliber I expect in a fine dining experience. I can go to the Hard Rock Cafe and probably have the same food for less price.
Complete Disappointment. First off, I was born and raised in NOLA. I judge every steak I eat in the world and at every steakhouse compared to the steaks I grew up on from Ruth’s Chris. The experience here at this location is so distinctly un-Ruth’s, the name of this place might as well be something else. The barbeque shrimp appetizer was good and as expected. The steaks are another story. The petite filet was flavorless and somewhat dry. It did not have the texture or flavor of a Prime steak. The Porterhouse for two was on the small side. Any double cut porterhouse at Morton’s, The Palm or Capital Grille would dwarf the cut served here. The flavor was okay but not worth the $85 cost. The sides were the biggest disappointment. Ruth’s Chris sides have always been servings sized for at least two people if not three. The sides here are single person servings but the prices reflect higher here than stand alone locations. The asparagus served here is nothing close to real steakhouse quality. I have never been in a bad Ruth’s Chris before anywhere in country or in the world for that matter. This location tonight has changed that. I hope our observations at this location are not representative of the standards that have always been high at Ruth’s Chris. Ruth’s Chris has always had a special place in my heart as a really great steakhouse. This location has tarnished my opinion of this once great steakhouse. This was a complete waste of $215. We were so disappointed we passed on desserts even though the manager offered them for free because we were not happy. If this is the best steak Biloxi has to offer, then the good people of this town are being deprived of truly great steakhouses.
Great!. Loved it! Got the filet and my husband got the ribeye. Wait staff were very attentive. Would recommend.
One of Biloxi’s Best. My wife and I have ate at Ruth’s Chris twice. the service is exceptional, the food is near perfect. the sides are considerably large in size and provide plenty to share. Anthony has been our server on both occasions, and has made our dinning out an event. he remembered the wine my wife drinks and the teperature of my prepared steak.
Being in a casino, the atmosphere was different than that in their regular restaurants. The service, however, is still great. My steak was a little stringy, and the waiter brought me another one when he could tell I wasn’t 100% pleased. The second steak was great.
Fantastic!. We actually visited twice in one night, once before the show, and then dinner afterwards. On the first visit, we sat at the bar and ate the best Oysters Rockefeller I’ve ever had. Service was fast and friendly, with a small mix-up on the bill that was quickly and easily resolved in a friendly manner. The after show dinner in the main restaurant featured probably the most tender, flavorful filet mignon we’ve eaten, and my husband is from New York and is not easily pleased with steaks! :)Yes, the prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for. This was certainly worth both the price and experience.
