This was the second time I have used Sal & Mookie’s in Biloxi for a business party, and it was a great event! We had about 100 guests and a live band. The restaurant was extremely accommodating, and the food and service was impeccable. We were especially wowed by the help of Meghan, Kris, Alli and Chris Swanson – what a great team! Thanks for the wonderful way to kick off our trade show!
They forgot the cheese. Seriously got a pizza that was built with cheese for 3.00 extra… no cheese. Cheese sticks were busted and all the cheese had oozed out. The grease was so old, the cheese sticks aren’t edible. I have never had to leave a review like this for a restaurant in my life. Never ever ever again. Ever.
Great place to have some good food and drinks, the local beer selection was amazing! Austin was so helpful with what to get on my first visit, definitely will return.
First I would like to thank Wayne Giles for working with me to setup a going away party for 66 people. Originally we were going to be on the porch since the private dining was already reserved. The weather was horrible the day of the dinner but Wayne called me two days earlier to let me know that he was planning on reserving a whole section of the restaurant inside for our group. No need to cancel or worry about anything. Communication over the two weeks prior with Wayne was great. All my questions were answered and many suggestions were made to make our meal a good experience. Due to weather our group was 45 with lots of kids. Our servers were Amanda and Eric who never got frustrated with all our moving around and socializing. They were friendly, prompt with refilling drinks, offered suggestions and were proficient in making our experience wonderful. Austin Ling was the manager on duty and came by several times to check on our group. The food was amazing. With our group being so large the choices varied for each person. The salads were fresh and the side salad was perfect size before eating pizza. The sizes of the Alfredo, Stromboli, panini and pizza were worth the price. Out of our group not one complaint was made about the food or service. The kids stayed entertained with wiki strings that each one got. And the ice cream parlor was just the right finishing touch for a great evening. This is a very family friendly place with friendly staff and management.Wayne, Austin, Eric and Amanda great job and thanks from The Church of the Good Shepherd. We will be back.
There’s very few places that I would drive 3 hours solely for the purpose of eating………Sal & Mookie’s has officially made that list! The pizza and ice cream are undeniable!! Everytime we come, the service is top notch and consistent.#HolyCrap#ClosestthingtoNewYork
I’m a tough pizza critic, especially if you claim to be New York style. I thought the food was great. I found the service was good as well. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly.
Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Took an hour and a half from the waitress taking the order to getting the food. Then the waitress took 20 minutes to get the check. Unbelievable
