I’ve been going to Shady’s infrequently for many years, and have always enjoyed Thai cuisine. Now, I know Shady’s isn’t just Thai, but I’ve never ordered anything but that whenever I’ve gone, so that’s what I’ll be reviewing. In the past it was delicious, but the quality of the food has slowly gone south. I ordered the tofu coconut soup this time (I ALWAYS order coconut soup. Usually chicken, but I was feeling tofu.) and, while the soup was about a 4 out of 5, the tofu had been deep fried before being put in the soup. The tofu bits were rubbery and unpalatable. So I picked them out and ate the rest of the soup. For the main course I ordered the yellow curry (the only thai curry left on the menu, they used to have red and green also), I wanted the tikka masala (indian curry) but they were out. It was the most tasteless Thai curry I have ever had. The spices they put on the table to mix into the curry help somewhat, but even they are mostly spicy, and don’t lend much actual flavor. (As a side note, I’m pretty sure one of the spice cups has cocoa in it, which is pretty darn cool. I use it on steak as a rub.)BOTTOM LINE: if you want curry or tofu, go anywhere else. Everything was edible (except the tofu), and it doesn’t taste bad. But the meal as a whole was a bit pricey for the quality of food you’re getting.

Excellent!!!. Ive been going to Shadys for a few years now, and I’ve always had fantastic service. Their coconut curry noodle is one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Today, however, just made it 10 times better. I went in today to pick up some lunch to go. The bartender, Nyla (not sure how to spell her name) was excellent. I accidently handed over a gift card, and she asked if it were mine. I didn’t even realize I did, so I told her no, and then went on my way. Later that day I realized that it was my card, it was stuck to the back of my debit card when I handed it to her. I called them later that afternoon and they had my card waiting for me! I came by and picked it up, and profusely apologized for the fool I was. They were all so nice. Nyla was so very sweet. She deserves a raise! Thank you for the excellent food and excellent Service.

The owner is really friendly. It was cool cause he came out to our table and there were about 12 of us. He was talking with us and then he mentioned he caught a bigger fish earlier and it wasn’t on the menu but if we wanted any he would sell us some and have them make it in back. In my restaurant experiences that was one of the most unique lol. Great mix of food though.

Low grade dog food. I went there for dinner one night. I got the seafood pasta that was basically a bowl of sauce with little to no seafood. I will not be back nor recommend to anyone

Fantastic!!!!. Love love love the yellow curry and thai coconut milk soup. I only order that every time I go. So good. Authentic. We’re repeat customers.

Upset for expensive meal. Went to this place twice, once months ago and the food was good. Went back with several friends and four out of six had terrible food. The meat was bad, apps had a bad taste. And then here comes the something not sure what it was in a plate of food!!! Needless to say we didn’t eat and walked out… Yes we left a tip it was the servers fault! But these people don’t know how to run a business. Never going back!
