Downhill. Used to love this place. Recent visit found a greatly reduced menu. Quality of food was poor. An $80 bottle of wine was served at storage temperature, not serving temperature. Why did they mess with a good thing? We won’t return.
Lean Cusines?! I was so puzzled as to why everyone was dressed up to eat food that looked and tasted like overpriced Lean Cusines. Our chicken marsala came out in literally 2 mins but we quickly tasted why. If my girlfriend and I hadn’t only eaten corn nuts all day and numbed our mouths with wine, we wouldn’t have eaten at all.
Used to love this place……but what a disappointment!. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in the Ms Gulf coast! Upon seating, there was a delicious basket of a variety of breads, served with 4-5 different dipping sauces:hummus, olive oil mix, marinara, and other delectable selections! Last night as we sat down,we were served just bread with one plate of olive oil! Why change something that was so spectacularly good???We ordered a 50 dollar bottle of wine (quite good) and two appetizers. The appetizers used to be 10 dollars, now they are 16$$$!! Doesn’t make any sense for a tiny serving. Anyway, after leaving a 20 percent tip,we left there with a dining bill of 100 dollars, and a very unsatisfactory meal! We used to go at least once a month. After all the changes,I doubt we will go again.
A little too little. My husband and I went for his birthday and what a disappointment. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan. What he got was tasteless chicken with tomato sauce topped with cheese. The vegetable was kale and no pasta. I had the Caprese salad that was small and flavorless and raw asparagus with shaved Parmesan. The only good thing we had was the bread. Our bill…$50+ No drinks. If you are looking for a good taste and decent portions for your money, better off going to Olive Garden.
Not worth the money!. If you are into the new age type of restaurant and not getting much for your money this is the place for you. My husband and I were staying at the Beau and tried Stalla for dinner, my husband got the chicken parmesan and compared it to a frozen dinner, very bland sauce, I got the spinach and ricotta ravioli which for $20 got me 5 ravioli with just butter for the sauce. Both of us were extremely disappointed in the amount of food and quality of food that we got for the money.
Loved it. Great food, service and atmosphere. Very current menu. I had veal piccata that had some sauted kale on top which really added a nice touch to the dish. My husband loved the spaghetti with red gravy sauce and wonderful meatballs that actually were made of veal, pork and beef. Very tender and wonderful. The manager stopped by our table twice to check to make sure all was well. This is the best meal we had while in Biloxi. Definitely will return.
Pizza is good but a bit greasy. The pesto is wonderful!
