There will never be another bartender as great as Danny! If you have the opportunity to visit with him at The Den, I implore you to do so. He pours strong drinks, remembers everything, and moves at the speed of lightning. He’ll have your drink ready before you sit down. I don’t go there for the food, but their potato salad is really good.
Good food, Dark ambiance. The ambiance is a bit dark and lackluster, but the service and food were good. I had the grilled Mahi sandwich with potato salad. The potato salad was good if undistinguished, but the sandwich was fantastic. The slab of Mahi was larger than most and cooked perfectly. The bun had a sweetness that was enhanced by its being lightly toasted just enough to get a bit of buttery crispiness.Also no hint of smokiness in this restaurant despite being quite close to the gambling machines and the bar.
