Great staff and bargain food. I’ll go to Checkers and have a sanich cheaper and Fresher than the McD’s down the road where most the time thing are forgotten and the three new burgers are crap, dry and overpriced with high prices and that crap white cheese and no ‘time schedule’25 Sep, 2013Will come back. I stopped in after doing some errands–had seen Checkers on Undercover Boss — first, I take a long time to decide what I want to order so I let several people go in front of me-my order taker kept checking with me and I re-assured her I was fine–she even brought me a nice cup of ice water while I made up my mind. I ordered a chili dog with extra mustard and onions, and a double crispy fish sannich When I got home, I was so pleasantly surprised, there was so much chili on the hot dog I had some left that I put in a cheese omlette and split the fish sannich with my neighbor and we both decided it was excellent. I saw a couple with burgers and fries and those looked great also. They’re open until 5:00 a.m. and from my experience, both the service and the food were well worth what I spent so I’ll be back if only for a sundae or milkshake.
