Good God! Just awful! Walked in a 11:45 am, the place was empty with no one behind the counter for five minutes. I ordered hot and sour soup and 2 spring rolls. My co-worker order curry chicken and a spring roll. They brought out a tray with all the spring rolls rolling around on one plate. The hot and sour soup was COLD. WTF? The spring rolls while hot, tasted like paint. I sent the soup back to be heated and waited… My co-worker could not finish his curry chicken, he said it was awful. We left with the soup in the back. They seemed to have a good business, lots of customers calling, but NEVER AGAIN!

Not for me!!!. Let me say that every Asian restaurant I’ve gone to has been pretty fast. This one I had to wait a while. I ordered the honey chicken which has some type of sauce that’s the consistency of jelly (gross). The meat from the looks of it was old. The only good thing in my meal was the Lo mein but I’ve had better.

Gross… but Delivery.. I’ve tried China Express several times. The first was right after they opened. My girlfriend *really* disliked it, but the General Tso’s chicken was good and the portions for the price were great. A month or so later, I ordered several meals at once for delivery. The delivery was very fast and the online payment went smoothly. The food, however, was the opposite of good. The General Tso’s was on point, but anything that wasn’t battered and deep fried was positively gross. I’m pretty darn sure that the chicken was not even real chicken — it was just some floppy meat substitute. While I love Asian food and the whole delivery thing is awesome, I will not be eating anything from here again for a long, long time.

HIT AND MISS. My fav is the hot & sour soup –delish with sliced mushooms, sliced onions, lettuce, great seasonings, they will add extra red pepper ifyou ask for them — also has 1 buck scoop so you can try things, lunch plates m-f, veg egg foo young always a fave — often order 2 orders w/ brown gravy — I’ve also sauteed fresh catfish fillets in the soup, cicken on a stick is good also along with their garlic dishes — delivery is fast and very nice, I add my wilted spinach to the soup or frozen spinach and even edame –their menu says no $2.00 delivery charge if more than $25.00 but that just depends on who takes the order I think — tried the fried potsticker –I’d skip that — the filling is very tasteless – so I only tip the delivery person a buck if there is the $2.00 delivery charge on my bill — sorry but when I order $35 I don’t expect to pay a delivery charge also. When my car is running I go to Best Wok and bring my own bean sprouts to add to my egg foo yung — and I skip the ‘gravy’ stuff – and I skip the rice also unless I can get some brown rice – that I can make at home — jasmine brown rice :)Today was a definite miss – ordered 3 large hot/sour soups with extra tofu – which I received, the first container was fine, the later one was almost tasteless for the broth – will see what the last one tastes like tomorrow – and yes on a 28 order I was charged the $2.00 delivery charge which their menu says doesn’t happen – also ordered a scallop, beef, chicken, shrimp dish with veggies and garlic sauce – glad I had some fresh garlic cloves to small and re-cook it or there would have been NO garlic flavor -oh and check the prices on the phone – some items are up as much as $2.00 and of course the misstatement about the $2.00 delivery charge – and there is no more $1/per serving so one can try something – guess I’ll have to drive all the way to Best Wok where if I bring something in they’ll add it to the dishes I order — and they will add extra garlic upon request not garlic powder – real garlic. So with the changes made, guess I’ll have to move to a ‘doesn’t like it’
