Jody’s is AMAZING !!. The very best cakes along with the most incredible customer service! Jody’s is AWESOME!!!! I live in Texas and wanted to have a birthday cake sent to my daughter’s office in Hattiesburg. Jody’s went over and above my highest expectations by delivering the most delicious, absolutely adorable decorated birthday cake ever! It beat anything I ever baked for her growing up !!!! It was a wonderful experience to find a business that treats your family so special on their special day. Every time I’m in Hattiesburg, guess where I’m heading for something great to eat? Jody’s of course.
My first experience here will absolutely be my last. The service was snooty and the prices were through the roof. The taste of the cakes and cookies were nothing of a homemade taste.

I just don’t know anymore.. I love Jodys. All of my and my families birthday cakes, my wedding and anniversary cakes, and all special occasion items have come from Jodys. The flavor has never been a question, no matter what, its delicious. The cake is something unlike any other cake I’ve ever had. Very dense, but incredibly flavorful and moist. I adore the frosting. It isn’t heavy or greasy, and it doesn’t have a strange aftertaste like a lot of frostings seem to have.However… This makes me sad to say, the last two years they have been pretty far from the top of their game in terms of decorating. Last year, my cake was done in the wrong color scheme, and this weekend when we picked up my birthday cake, they didn’t even put the picture on it that was requested and claimed they didn’t know where to look. The cake itself… Its hideous. Truly hideous. Obviously the newbie decorators did it. I could have done better script by myself, and it wouldn’t have cost $45. In the past the cakes have been so beautiful. No one even called to ask about where to get the image (it was emailed to them, as always).
Great Birthday Cake. Jody’s helped me design my husband’s 40th birthday cake in Febuary this year. I wanted a topsy turvy, and she helped pick the colors and design. It was delicious! From cookies to pastries to King Cakes, it’s all very good!
