One of the better Hibachi around. Didn’t care much for the teriaki sauce, but everything else was great.
Went for the first time the other night. I must admit I have passed this place several times but have never given it a second glance. The inside is much nicer than the outside appearance. The cook was upbeat and fun. Definitely made it fun to watch him cook. My sushi was very good too. My complaint would have to be my appetizer came out with my main meal which kind of defeats the purpose of the appetizer, and we were not offered dessert. Just given the check. However, I have been craving the fried rice since I left so I will definitely go back.
Good food! My coworker and I were passing through Hattiesburg for business and were very pleased with our meals–sushi rolls and a beef teriyaki lunch. Decent service.
The best hibachi in Hattiesburg. Oishi is by far the best hibachi in Hattiesburg. I have tried them all and I haven’t found another that comes close.
Not consistent. My co-workers and I used to come here at least once a week for lunch hibachi. I always get the Salmon Hibachi, and it’s a hit or miss sometimes. The fried rice is good and they give you so much more than you need. The sauteed veggies were ok, still slightly crunchy which is the way I like my veggies but the seasoning is never consistent. Most times, it’s just too salty. I’ve ordered their Dynamite roll, and it’s pretty good. Not the best place I ever had, but does what it needs to satisfy a hibachi craving.
Plain and the sushi man was rude. Dinner hibachi is way too expensive,Not much show like what i expect.
