Top notch bar and drink program, progressive cocktails, great surprise in Hattiesburg. Tighten up the details with the food (seasoning) and this crew will be going places.

Divine. The food, atmosphere and servers get an A+. The meal was a heavenly experience, just right, no complaints here 🙂
I went there once with a friend of mine and there was nothing on the menu I would eat, it’s mainly all Cajun and I hate spicy food, 99 percent of there food is that so I didn’t eat nothing, I won’t ever go back, I personally think they will go out of business eventually because their foods nasty and their staff was rude when I went there, the only thing they’re famous for is that bar next door to them, that’s the only reason they’re still open
Simply wonderful. I had dinner at the Purple Parrot for the first time tonight and it was exceptionally good. It has a nice, upscale atmosphere. Ryan was the consumate bartender–pours an honest drink, knows his wines, knows the menu and goes out of his way to make sure every need is met. The basket of bread to start with was a very nice selection; I tried a cup of the gumbo ya ya and it was very tasty and rich; and finally I had the redfish with jumbo lump crabmeat–it was a very generous fish filet with a wonderful seasoning, every bite was a treat. The asparagus and potatoes were also a perfect compliment to the fish. It is a little pricey, but it’s worth it here. Great place for a special night out.
THANKS BE TO TERRY !. The food is wonderful, dont want something on the menu? Just ask. Try and sit at the bar when Terry is there, he is amazing and remembers everthing, I find Terry to be the cornerstone of the Parrot. Food is always cooked perfect, from the fish to the beef, from the duck eggrolls to the after dinner Gin Fiz. You cannot go wrong.
