We ate at shoneys Friday night December 14 after a musical performance. It had been several years since we visited this restaurant. Food was not good at all. All of it was old, like it was out at lunch and not even stirred or freshened up. I was very disappointed. The staff was seated on the counter, yes ON the counter and not working. We could hear very loud talking by staff, laughing extremely loud. They were having a great time. Would NOT recommend this restaurant, and we will not be back.

Liver & Onions. I love liver & onions and have to have it every so often. (I can’t cook it) Shoneys does it very well. I do ask my waiter to tell the cook I want it cooked but not HARD cooked and when I do that it has come out perfectly. I get my own salad from the salad bar and usually have the baked potato and put what I want on it (liver juices work well for me). Once in a while I’ll venture to the buffett, but to be honest with you, other than the salad to go with my liver & onions….I’m a liver & onions gal!! The only thing it needs is my gramma to share it with me cuz she and I were the only ones that would eat it and she wouldn’t touch it except with a fork after it was cooked.
