Great Pizza, but a bit pricey. First off, the food’s delicious, likely the best pizza in Columbus. It seems to be Italian style, which is a nice change of pace, though it’s a bit overpriced in my opinion. Definitely worth the venture, but not justifiable as a recurring meal.

Hit or Miss. I have been going here for roughly 18 months. Since the the Bistro and Pizza sides have become more of a single entity by knocking down the partitioning wall they have experienced their share of growing pains. The food quality remains above average for the area with the pizza being the best until you reach Starkville. The service displays its share of confusion. My personal aggravations have been waiting more than 5 minutes to have a wait person hand me a pizza sitting on the counter after I specifically asked if it was mine while my embroidered 1 1/2 inch high name was clearly visible on a work uniform. Another was a takeout order with the wait person verbally announcing all items were in good order after making a show of inspecting the order for completeness only to find half the items missing upon driving the 20 minutes to get home and after closing time.Overall the food is worth enjoying, but keep a mentoring eye upon the staff to ensure they maintain focus.

Good calzones. My husband really enjoyed his meat calzone, although he would have preferred the sausage to be cooked a bit more. I got a veggie calzone, which lacked flavor, but he tells me that’s what I get for not adding a meat! We enjoyed it and will be back.

The pizza is great, the service is great, and they’re great supporters of CAFB and our class. We go in almost every Wednesday night to grab a pizza and are loyal fans. Now that they’ve started their rewards card, we get points for loving CJs so much. You should go, you should bring your classmates, and leave a class patch to hang on the wall of fame!

Delicious Pizza. Went here on a suggestion for a friend. Was pleased to find good Jersey style pizza in MS. I’d eat here again.

Sorry to see do many poor reviews. We’ve never had any such issues. Would only say that the prices are too high. But the pizza is very good, would never consider buying from anywhere else in town.

Absent Service Focus. I could not agree more with Lost Order???. When we arrived at Columbus from Italy, we were ecstatic to know that a restaurant exist serving authentic – or quasi – Italian dishes; i.e., pizza. My family and I bolted directly there, excited to taste the flavors of Italy. The pizza was great, but the service was bad. It was so bad that it literally put the Italian service to shame. Least, the Italian culture is slow when it comes to serving their food because they cook the food fresh as you order; not precooked. Tonight, we are eating CJ’s pizza, but we devised a plan so to not wait there that long; pre-order…lol.
