This place always pleases me and my fiance. We’ve never had bad service or bad food, it’s always wonderful. It is a bit pricey but worth it. The sushi is the best in town and I love their onion soup and house salad. They are amazing. Totally recommend this restaurant but FYI it is called Samuari now.
This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I have been a waitress for a very long time and I know how to deliver a good experience. First problem came when I ordered Sake. I took one sip and asked for a sweet tea. Apparently that was a problem for the owner. So I said forget it and kept it even though I didn’t drink it. Then, we ordered our food and the people who came in after us got their food before we even got our appetizer. Our appetizer was severely undercooked and when I said something, that was a problem. We sat for about an hour before we just said forget it. We paid for our drinks and left. I will never be back. The only person who was remotely hospitable was the black girl who was working. This place is awful.
Apparently the people that eat here have never eaten real sushi. There service was awful and the sushi wasn’t good. Poor all around
Like it. It’s good sushi, though not the best. I found the service fine, the prices reasonable, and the atmosphere is cozy. It won’t blow any minds, but it’s good enough to frequent.
Good prices and a fun atmosphere. The service was great! The sushi was above average not great. Some rolls were really good and some were just ok.
Great food, great service. Since the new owners have taken over, the restaurant has turned around quite drastically. The food is always delicious and of high quality, the staff are very polite and professional, and (unlike older comments) the service is quick and efficient. Though it may look similar from the outside, Little Tokyo is truly one of the new and improved spots to eat in town. It’s rare to find a decent sushi restaurant in this area of the country, but I guess we got lucky.
Much Improved. New owners have increased the speed of service, shortened the menu and are producing beautiful sushi. Some of the best I’ve had anywhere…..sushi, that is. I had given up on this place because it was so run-down, but the new owners seem to have it running right. Please give it another chance.
