My wife and I had the breakfast buffet at about 8:30 on a Sunday. We were promptly greeted by the young lady on the cash register, and she told us about the open seating. The decor is that of a repourposed TexMex resturant. And the operation could use a facelift, or just a good sanding. The competent serving staff made an effort to show their care for the customer, and had no qualm with settling any issues that arose. Onto the food:My wife and I tried their sweet tea, and it was very good. The buffet was pretty ok, and it offered some varied options. With the classic, homemade grits, cheesy breakfast casserole, and some smokey sausage taking center stage. Nothing goes light at the Ranch House Diner, and it all goes well with the $10.00 price per plate including the drink.I would not be afraid to drop back in to try something from the menu.
We loved it, a little disappointed that we missed breakfast, but the Sunday lunch buffet was awesome and I don’t like a buffet. We would go back in a minute!
