Good service and the food was okay. What was NOT ok… I went in for lunch after looking at the menu here, I chose Pad Thai for $9.95. I couldn’t decide between tofu or shrimp and asked if I could do half and half. The waitress said no problem and promptly brought our food out. The shrimp was pretty good, there were 3 medium sized shrimp. The tofu, however, was not good at all, and I love tofu. The noodles were yummy, so ok, whatever. Then I got the bill… $17.01!!!!! What happened to $9.95?? Honestly, in the restaurants defense, I did not look at the menu there, because I had made my decision before even arriving because I was limited on time, in that I was on my lunch break. I asked the waitress about it and she said she was new and would look into it. I also pointed out that I didn’t have ALL shrimp, as half was tofu, which again was not good. So she took my ticket and came back and advised the total was correct. WTH?! So basically I had to pay $7 more for 3 freakin’ shrimp, WOW! Guess I should’ve just ordered the chicken? Who knows, maybe there is an extra charge for chicken as well?!!! How does this place even stay OPEN!? $17 for a quick lunch is ridiculous. It’s a mistake I will not be making again.
Food is hot and very tasty. Service is extremely slow. We waited for over an hour on our food and my red curry, although delicious in flavor, had about two pieces of chicken in a very thin broth. Fourteen dollars for broth and rice is a bit much no matter how tasty.
