You can tell there is a lot of history in this place, home of the Alice Hotel (which are apartments now, so don’t try to get a room for the night.) Extremely high ceilings, and wood everywhere… floors, doors, stairs, ect… And the food is great, to boot! The server offered me complimentary greens, cheese dip and hushpuppies, and I declined the cheese and puppies before I read the great reviews. I feel I missed out. But the lunch special I had was a deal maker. Very flavorful. I didn’t know there were great places to eat in Ellisville, but this is definately one!
