Two words: Rancid Meat. I’ve been here more than a few times–and the foods been pretty good. This week I ordered the Carne Asada, and the steak had an off-putting spell (but silly me I thought ‘maybe it’s a new seasoning/marinade’). One bite and I nearly gagged. That meat was bad. REALLY bad. I filled up on chips/salsa until my party was ready to leave. When the waiter asked how everything was, I told him. All I got was a carebear stare and the ticket (unadjusted). When I cashed out, the attendant asked me the same question and received the same response about the steak. After having him stare at me dumbly, I finally asked why his people asked how things were since it obviously doesn’t matter. He ended up discounting my plate 50% It was better than nothing, but even paying half for that crap it a bust. I won’t be back.
What Happened???. This is my favorite Mexican place to eat but tonight just made an exception to that.The food was totally different. No cheese on the fajitas alumbre, no tomatoes in t hem either, no guacamole in the sides box and in the sides box there was only chopped up tomatoes, lettuce and sour cream…..no cilantro in mix.Price went up but I wouldn’t have minded a price increase for the same delicious food. If this is the change then my family won’t be back.

Good. I’m new to Ellisville and still not very familiar with the other restaurants in town( I hope to eventually try them all), but I have been to Casadores several times with my wife. This place is about as consistent as they come….service is always super fast( you’ll barely hit the seat before there’s chips and salsa in front of you) and the food has been good every time I’ve been. And like most mexican places, Casadores is very affordable. I would recommend them to anyone.
Nice place. I am a mexican food lover and I have to tell you that this place is up to par!! Love the food, atmospher, and service everytime I go. Nothing is a let down. The only thing that could use some help is their salsa. It is mild, and salty. I recommend getting the Alambres Casadores!!
Simply Awesome. My wife and I do not go anywhere else. The pineapple fajitas with the chicken, shrimp and beef is all we ever get. Fills us both up for $15 and it is the best Mexican dish in Jones County.
