We ate here today and had 2 new menu items. For a limited time they are offering 7.99 meals that let you pick one meat item and 2 sides with muffin or biscuit. My wife had the new chopped steak topped with swiss, mushrooms, and onions. She also had fried okra, and mac and cheese. She said the chopped steak was the best she’s ever had. I had the grilled pork chop with corn and mashed potatoes. My pork chop was very tender and flavorful. I ended with a black berry cobbler with was wonderful. Nice and warm, topped with a scoop of ice cream. The service was also very good. Our server took care of us.

Chicken and dumplings. Never had chicken and dumpling. maybe great, i don’t have a clue what they are supposed to taste like. But I won’t be having that again. the hash browns, are great.I’d like to try more of their menu…lots of stuff sound good.service and staff excellent!went back but forgot to take a photo, looked so delicious, i dove right in……had blackberry dessert w/ ice cream…pretty good…and they have a few other desserts i’d like to try…I like eating them for breakfast w/ coffee….
I visited the Gulfport, MS Cracker Barrel about Oct 17th. The breakfast was great and the waitress couldn’t have been nicer. I even spilled my tea and felt bad about it but she smiled right thru it. I think her name was Lydia. Perfect breakfast on a great trip!
It is all it is cracked up to be. This is one of the better Cracker Barrel locations. Lotsa good food, great service. It’s is generally busy so it can get loud in the dining room. Because of the crush of people, parking can be at a premium.
A couple of weeks ago, a group of us came here after a movie. The hostess was obviously having a bad day and was not very friendly. The waitress was nice. The food was fairly reasonably priced. However its taste was kind of underwhelming. The meatloaf and rolls were good, but everything else was lacking in flavor.
We like C/B and stop there when traveling because we know they are consistent with good food and service. This location in Gulfport goes beyond our expectations. The food is a little better than most. Husband stationed down here so we eat here often breakfast, lunch or dinner. Always good food and good service.
