We went to eat lunch there last week. I had been there about 2 months ago and had their Bread Pudding. It was absolutely out of this world!! When we were there last week, it had a whole different flavor and texture. It just wasn’t the same. What happened???? You need to bring the other one back so we can enjoy it.
I like Lil’ Rays and always have. In a past life I worked on the Gulf Coast on a regular basis and had several clients on Courthouse Rd. This became a place I would take them to lunch on a regular basis. That was more than a decade ago and I’ve only been to this location a time or two since. This past week I took the family.I ordered a smoked sausage poboy with a side of gumbo and the wife ordered the fried shrimp dinner.It was an early lunch and we were served pretty quickly. My poboy was good, the bread was fresh and it was a quality sausage. The toppings were fresh as well. No complaints. The gumbo was good, not great and not as good as I remembered. My wife reported that her shrimp were good.In all we would go back.
