Usually I like Longhorn, but this time was terrible. Waitress was indifferent, food was over cooked and too many mistakes. Management needs to get on the ball here.03 Aug, 2013Erica H. Was a very nice waitress and the food was good as always. Thank you for making our evening enjoyable. We will be back.
Everthing was great as usual! Pleasant hostess, atmosphere, and waitress. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. Erica H. was a wonderful waitress! I will return, as well as recommend this place to my friends!
Happy!. Husband and I stopped in fairly late (9pm) and I was a bit worried because they were closing in an hour, but we were pleasantly surprised. I had Parm. crusted chicken with mashed and a house salad.. everything was good. Hubby has Steak and was quite happy as well. The service was even good! Nice to know there are some places you can get a good meal even late.
Veey surprised with the flavor, texture, value, and amount of food! I have never had a really tasty and tender steak at a chain… but this was one of the best steaks i’ve had in a while. Even some of the most popular/locally owned restaurants have been disappointing in that the steaks are not cooked to order, lack flavor, or overpriced. The porterhouse was excellent and cooked perfectly medium rare with just the right amount of searing on the fat. The grilled shrimp skewers were plentiful with a nice amount of sides. The onion soup had a nice beefy flavor with lots of cheese browned just right on top. The blue cheese tasted homemade-i don’t care if it was or wasn’t – it was just great! The salads were a nice size,as well! I can’t believe we had such a tasty meal in a chain restaurant! We will definitely make this one of our go-to restaurants!!!
Knocked my socks off!. I rarely patronize chains, especially steakhouse joints, but I gave Longhorn a try because I was pressed for time. I couldn’t have been more impressed by the place, the service and the food–it was way beyond my expectations.First, if you want great service by someone who knows the food and knows how to do her job superbly, ask to sit in Hope’s section.I told her I was torn between the flat iron steak and the rib eye–she asked if I like mushrooms, and I do, so she suggested the flat iron steak with stuffed portabello. It came with a great, fresh salad, fresh bread and a side of fresh green beans. The steak was seasoned wonderfully, cooked perfectly and topped with a nice mushroom stuffed with cheese and it was delicious; the green beans still had snap and flavor and were great. With the salad, that came to $13.99. Another reviewer complained this place was over priced, but I can’t think of another place I’ve had a steak this good for such a good price. I topped it off with key lime pie and coffee and they were both excellent too. I had no complaints and loved every bite–they’re doing things right over there.
A tad bit expensive for what you get…. My wife and I ate there a couple of nights ago…I ordered steak and she ordered the trout. Although you get a salad with the meal, I was surprised they only offered one extra. I took the asparagus and my wife had the baked potato…both servings were enough that we could swap enough for a meal. My steak was delicious albeit a little undercooked, my wife’s trout was very good but the portion was much less than she’d normally receive at a non-chain type restaurant. All in all the experience was fine…but expensive. Not sure we’ll bother going back. The service/wait staff were excellent…as were the drinks.
We had our first Valentines Day dinner as a married couple here and had a great experience. Good food. Good service. Great atmosphere.
