Mixed drinks a rip off. My service was great! My taco salad mostly lettuce hardly any cheese barely any meat . The mixed drink was small considering it was over $6 . Seriously Boones farm is better ( that cheap wine) more than likely will not be back.
Guacamole and crunchy tacos are delicious!
This place was kinda hit or miss for me. The guacamole was just mashed avocados. They were boring and forgettable. The salsa was fresh and tasty. The margaritas were good but they were a bit limey for my taste. I did enjoy the combo fajitas! Very flavorful and filling! But the biggest hit of all was that delicious Pepe! I could’ve taken a Togo order of him! Lol
No More Morelias. Nothing distinctive about the menu or drinks. My beef of my chimichanga did not seem to have any seasoning, and I prefer the red sauce to the cheese sauce that they provided. Service was a bit slow, but it was very crowded, so quite a few people appear to like it.
First time and last time I eat here. The food is actually pretty good but the wait staff is awful. They are rude with no personality. They were just sitting around while I had an empty glass. Another server came up and asked what I needed, and I responded that I needed my server. She said that she could take care of it. Very strange vibe the whole time, like no one wanted to be there or do anything.
Bad treatment of regular customer. I went to Morelias once a week for the three months I have been in Gulfport, and liked it better than other Mexican restaurants I had tried, but I won’t be going back. Today as I walked in, the white board on stand was at the entrance as normal, with two daily lunch specials – the same as always. I ordered the second lunch special, but she brought me the dinner by the same name, at twice the cost. When I said I ordered the special, she said they don’t do lunch specials any more. I got up and walked to the entrance, and the sign and stand had been removed. I ate, paid, and asked to talk to the manager. I told him in both fluent English and fluent Spanish that I had paid, but this was not right, and I would not be coming back. No yelling or raised voice, no bad language, but he had absolutely no response, sealing my decision.
I’m a Mexican- & this place is the real deal!! The mojarra fish is amazing, but you must be prepared to eat it carefully around the bones. The quesadilla de camarones is sooo good!! I give this place a 10!
