VERY SAD – WHAT A SHAME -. This is our second time visiting Newk’s here in Gulfport MS. Never again. I am posting our pictures of the Roast Beef Sandwich. This first pic shows what liitle slice of beef you get on the sandwich. The second pictures is the roast beef that was the remake from both sandwich 1/2’s each. I waited for the remake to come back to the table, all our guests were finished eating before I got the remake. Strange thing was only four tables in the restaurant eating at 5:00 in the afternoon. The flavor of the roast beef is great. However, I would NEVER return to this place again in the future. Our friends we ate with, told me they come often, and have never seen such little portions of meet on a sandwich. They to will not be returning again. There are a lot of other options here in the coast with better food, service, and managers who care and visit with there customers.
Ultimate crab soup was way too spicy and no other flavor. The Grilled steak Sandwichwas mostly onions and a small amount of steak on one corner of the roll.Margerita pizza was just a cheese pizza with way to few thin tomatoe slices . VERY DISAPOINTING!!
Just alright. I would not come back. I think they mix goat cheese into their mayo because my turkey sandwich had a funky taste. My wife and I shared a brownie for dessert. It was a plain, boring, cheap chocolate fudge brownie. To each his own but I will pass on Newk’s in the future.
Fantastic!. All five of us greatly enjoyed the food. We had red beans and rice soup, tortilla soup, potato soup, club sandwich, steak sandwich and a spicy chicken pizza. We will definetly be back. WAY better than McAlisters. We are still talking about how good it was and it has been a week.
It was alright. Just ate dinner at Newk’s it was alright. McAlester’s is 10 times better. The Sweet Tea at McAlester’s is sweeter, and the food tastes better. I mean what I had at Newk’s wasn’t awful I had Half of a Shrimp Po’Boy, and a small bowl of Crab Soup, it was pretty good but I still think McAlester’s is better.
Tasty, but smaller portions. Enjoyable meal. A substantial portion of lobster and crab bisque was a bit salty, but lobster flavor came through. Sandwiches were a bit small, but very tasty. Pizzas were delicious, thin crust, tasty sauce though they only have 10-inch size.
