Skeeters has an awesome Hookah lounge! They just lowered the prices of their Fumari from $15 to $11 something. That’s a solid deal, especially since it’s charged by hookah versus the number of people.Besides the lounge, Skeeters has pool-beer-darts, etc. The usual stuff you find in a sports bar. The service has been great every time that I’ve been (4x) and the food is actually pretty awesome.I always get the cheese fries, beef nachos, or fries pickles. Absolutely the best fries pickles I have ever had, and I have had my fair share. They somehow manage to keep their cheese fries crispy! I appreciate that, and they taste great. The nachos are piled high with toppings. I couldn’t even finish the last plate I ordered lol.The bar food is definitely on point. It’s such a chill environment to smoke some hookah, have a pitcher, and share appetizers with friends. I love it!Sorry the photo sucks lol.
Good food and good service. I have been to Skeeters two times now. It has a nice atmosphere to hand out after getting off work in the afternoons. They have a variety of good food to choose from including burgers, mini tacos, and wings. They also have good drink specials. Both times I was there I had a waitress that was knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive. There are tons of pool tables and a few arcade style games as well. LOTS of TVs for to watch football games (or whichever sport you prefer) I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this place. It even had a good location and plenty of parking. Keep up the good work Skeeters!
Used to be a semi-regular. I loved going to skeeters to grab some food with friends. And even if we didn’t get food, we always loved to come and play pool. I know Skeeters is a bar but it was nice place for under 21 to enjoy a good game with friends. That was, until the new owner showed up. I’m a 20 yr old college student, as are many of my friends. I was on break one time, came home and expected to have a nice night out with friends. We’re keeping to ourselves and having good time, when at about 9:15, this woman comes over asking for me and my friend’s ids (very RUDELY i might add). And she rudely informs us we can’t be in there after 8-830. They pushed the hour back 2 whole hrs. I was furious. Have not been back since.
Patience server. Some friends and I went there to have some drinks. Drinks were OK but our server Patience was absolutely terrible. She was very rude and snotty. She very rarely check on us and it seemed like she was more interested in hanging out at the bar and talking to the bartender which appeared to be her boyfriend. She was very unprofessional. Definitely will not be back.
Sucks… Bartender/waitstaff are horrible..no customer service skills plain rude.unclean bathrooms food is horrible..New management is disrespectful to locals who have been coming here for years to play pool & watch football. I do not recommend this establishment for entertainment.
Rude Service. Was there on 12 Sep. Bar tender was very rude and cocky. Also, in Gulfport, there is supposed to be no smoking in restaurants or places that serve food. I couldn’t eat because of all the smoke. Cigarettes, cigars
Great Local Bar. Found this place on our last visit – needed a fun place to watch the Sugar Bowl and the guy at our hotel desk recommended Skeeter’s. Awesome place, cool atmosphere, great bar food and the waiter was a lot of fun too! A lot of tv’s to choose from. Good crowd! Will definitely go back.
