Disappointing. First time back in over two years; and while the outside facelift looks nice the food was not. We were there at 12:30. It was busy but not crazy busy. We all had very simple orders. Cheese burger, Chicken sandwhich, pecan crusted salad, chicken pizza, and 2 cobb salads both without bleu cheese. 15 minutes went by and we finally got our drink order. 30 minutes went by and no food. Then another 5 minutes passed and the children got their order. Then another 15 minutes passed and 2 more orders came out. Then the waitress started taking the table across from us order. (Never once said; I am sorry they screwed up your salad order in the back and I am having them re make it.) so we wait; and finally my sister calls over the manager. In which he goes to the back and brings us our salads. By this time I had already surpassed my lunch hour and had to go. I didn’t get to enjoy the company I was with and eat it at the restaurant I had to take it to go…THEY TOOK WAY TOO LONG!!!I ordered a simple cobb salad with no bleu cheese and one hour later got a oops we made with bleu cheese but corrected it. What they did was scrap off the bleu cheese best they could and gave it to me. NASTY. The underside of the Chicken which they turned over had bleu cheese residue all over it. The bacon (which is supposed to be real bacon cut up was like they cooked it two days ago and chopped it up and put on the salad (cold and old). So sad. It might be another 2 years before I go back. There are too many other restaurants in the same area that are much better so most likely wont ever be back.

This location should be avoided by all but Hindus looking for a fun night of fasting. The food is terrible and the waitstaff at Dick’s Last Resort is more polite.
I used to eat here all the time. Sadly, the quality of food and service here seems to be going downhill. Only place I know of on the Gulf Coast that doesn’t serve bread or salad with pasta (available separately, with an additional charge).
TGI Better. In the past we’ve had decent, but undistinguished meals here until the other night when 2 apparently new dishes won us over. The salmon with langostino lobster was just terrific. the salmon was cooked perfectly with enough doneness to the exterior while keeping the interior warm and red. The longostino lobster were a nice change from shrimp. Did not catch the in ingredients in the sauce, but is was magnificent – a touch of spicieness. The side vegetables – mostly zucchini were cooked nicely – still crisp and a tangy seasoning. I had cole slaw in lieu of potatoes and it was terrific a bit of sweetness to compliment the sour. My wife’s chicken and shrimp in alfredo sauce was also vey good – the shrimp were tender, a good size, and plentiful. The chicken moist and flavorful. The alfedo sauce was a little subtler when it came to the cheese, but this actually worked very well as it didn’t overpower the other flavors. We finished with a great Tennessee whisky cake.
We loved it! We started off with the triple dip trio (got double queso since we don’t do hummus) came out hot and the chips fresh & warm. Also got the bbq chicken flatbread (it was date night so we splurged on 2 appetizers 😉 we’ve never had any kind of flatbread, but it was wonderful. Bold and tasty. My hubby got the sizzling chicken and shrimp and he said it was pretty good but wishes he would have gotten the ribs. I got the sizzling chicken & cheese w/ mashed potatoes. I get it everytime and it hasn’t failed me yet. Our waitress was good, we didn’t have to ask once for her to refill our drinks; was on top of her game. She received a very good tip 🙂
