WONDERFUL!. The Chimneys has the best food, atmosphere and staff on the coast by far. Confused about comments regarding the food quality – they have had the same chef for years. Great place for lunch, dinner and especially special occasions. We have celebrated many birthdays at The Chimneys and always keep it in mind when guests come in town. Was at a wedding there a few weeks ago and they didn’t disappoint. The view is beautiful and the trout almondine is my favorite!
Mothers Day Brunch. This was the worst food and we wasted a lot of money. The best part of our day was spending it with my children, family time . I would never go to this place again for any meal. I can’t believe the cold eggs, uncooked bacon. The waiter was not present and had a lot to be be said . If you don’t like your job go find another. The menu wasn’t the one they shared with us from on line. Save your time and money,!! Go somewhere else.
Extremely unhappy with recent service. In the past the service was excellent. I was bringing my mother to Mother’s Day brunch, I tried making a reservations two weeks in advance, called several times during Business hours and never had an answer. I finally left a message and received a rude return call the next day. I should have taken the hint and made reservations elsewhere. We arrived for our reservation 10 min early, where seated promptly then waited an hour for anyone to even acknowledge us. The waitress was nice but she didn’t bring our champaign, we had to ask for bread 45 min later and received our food an hour and 15 min after our order was taken. We were there for almost three hours! I understand being busy but that was ridiculous!
Great food!
We have always enjoyed our meals there! It has a beautiful romantic view of the gulf and I recommend this place to everyone.
Very ordinary food with high prices. They use Choice Beef. Filet was cooked properly but the grill should have been cleaned better. The lobster was overlooked. Trout was good but not anything special.
