An Interesting and Welcoming Place to Watch a Football Game. As a New Orleans transplant from Wisconsin beginning in 2007, I was able to watch Brett Favre’s last game as a Packer here, along with a few other Packers games in 2007. The ambiance had a lot of flavor–an unhealthy smattering of Brett Favre memorabilia, brassieres hanging from the ceiling, a pool table or two, and a bartender with a formidable pair of mutton chops, to name a few artifacts. One time that I was there, a gentleman brought his own rum with him to the bar, and ordered a coke, to the amusement of my friends and the un-phased approval of the bartender (who gave him the coke). On gamedays, there was plenty of good food served, compliments of presumably either the owner or friends/family of the owner. Everybody was very friendly. Also, something about the men’s bathroom seemed unusual, but I don’t quite remember.
