Everything but the fish was good. Enjoyed lunch. Had the Lunch platter – fried catfish, shrimp, potato salad, and hush puppies for $10.95 – beverage extra -$1.95 for a very large glass of Coke. The shrimp were good, but not distinctive, but at least the breading did not suppress the taste of the shrimp. Got more than a dozen small to medium sized shrimp.The mustard potato salad was very good and the hush puppies good, but again not distinctive. The problem was with the so-called catfsh – 2 small fillets that did not have the sweet taste of catfish – in fact they had a very fishy taste, so perhaps not at the peak of freshness. The coffee was very good served in the big heavy diner coffee cups. The bread pudding was good – very sweet. Service was prompt and attentive. I ate on the enclosed front porch, which had a bit of a musty smell, but not offensive. So except for the fish it was enjoyable if not particularly great.
Had dinner last night. food was great the gumbo was the best i have had. my husband loved the food too. Brittany was our server and she was great we were well taken care of and she was very friendly will be back.
Went there for lunch Tuesday and really enjoyed the food. it was my first time. prices are a little high but worst service ever in my life. i don’t think i will be back
Went one time at night and loved it but went during lunch and the service was horrible we will never be back had to apologize to my friend i had with me from out of town had to beg for drink refill food is good but we will never be back
I went there and they have the best cream sauce! My husband loves the poboys and the seafood gumbo. Brittany was our server and she did a great job love her personality. We brought our family from out of state and we will defiently be back best food amd service we have had.
Very bad service and food! Definitely not worth the price. Ordered a Black Angus Ribeye with baked potato. Received a fatty, tough piece of meat and half a potato even though it cost me $1.50 extra to upgrade to the potato. Waitress, Brittany, was very nonchalant and kept running off to talk to other servers in the restaurant. Also inflated our bill from $65 to $93. Had to wait while she recalculated our check.. Still did not get it right.. Will not return ever…
Ate an early dinner there with 2 others. Food was overpriced and under quality. Steak was too fatty. Poboy was too messy. Shrimp and grits was decent. Service left a LOT to be desired.
