My husband and I miss your steamed seafood. Can’t wait until you reopen. We tried a steam place in Gulfport and were let down. Just not the same. Miss the great service and great food.
The food and service were excellent and Daniel the server made the meal relaxing and fun. We started off with the smoked Tuna dip and it was the best we’ve ever eaten. All of the steamed seafood is excellent, but they didn’t have the royal reds and substituted another type of shrimp that wasn’t near as good. It’s a little pricey, but a great meal for that special occasion!
Best Restaurant on the Coast. Terrific experience, great ambiance, the food was amazing. I had the lobster andred royal shrimp, absolutely the best seafood on the MS Gulf Coast. The service was top notch, good cocktail, and an amazing experience.
Don’t pass this place up.. The outside doesn’t look like much, but the inside is inviting and very nicely appointed with a good atmosphere. I’m glad we arrived right at the opening time (4:30 pm) because by the time we were well into our meal the place was packed. I started off with the Lump Crabmeat dip which was awesome! I could of easily filled up on that with the tiny pieces of sliced french bread provided for dipping. It was honest LUMP CRAB meat. Not imitation. Very fresh and good cajun spices. My main meal was the Lobster Kabobster(sp). It’s the Lobster tail on an open shell with lump crab meat mixed in a cajun mix with cheese piled on top.I was stuffed. I couldn’t even eat the entire dish, but it was very good.
Yes Yes Yes. 6 of us went, we almost skipped it because no reservations. This place sits on the banks of the Jourdan River, Looks a bit funky on the outside, but when you walk in the door (wow) We were greated like they wanted us there, Clean clean clean, (you can tell right away they care)The Staff was very well trained. We ordered 6 different items off the menu and they delivered with complete satisfaction to all of us. Now let me tell you if your on a tight budget this place is not for you! our cost was 45.00 per person, The Steaks were better than Ruth C_____ steak house, the King Crab was off the charts, The stuffed Lobster is still being talked about by my wife, And the fresh fish was REALLY FRESH FISH and large portions. We meet the owner and the Chef. Oh yea, and no fried foods. This place should be in the top 100 restaurants in the USA, Kuddos to you and your staff, Guys guys get it !
My husband saw this restaurant featured on Jim Taber’s Shop South MS and really wanted to try it. we both very much liked the food, the staff and the atmosphere was great! There’s a nice little bar and there was live music (we went on a Saturday night). The wait for a table more than an hour as they don’t take reservations but it was definitely worth the wait! It was a bit pricey but again, it was totally with it! We can’t wait to go back!
WOW. I went here for my birthday and it was absolutely blown away with the food and staff. I ordered the Lobsterkadobster, how every you spell it, it was delicious. The menu said 1.5# lobster but it was much closer to 2#.My friends had the Black Pearl platter which came with the biggest king crab I have seen at a restaurant and it was delicious, next time I go back I will be getting the king crab. The staff was extremely friendly and the even lit fireworks on bread pudding for my birthday. The only thing that was a setback was the wait for food, but keep in mind they were preparing for six people; also the price’s are a little high but well worth it.
