Great food and service! All of our food was served promptly.’ We had fried pickles which were delicious. And fried oysters and catfish that were crispy golden. And the fried shrimp salad was enough for 2 people. Hope to return next time we r in town.
Great food great service! Awesome shrimp poboy!!!. Shrimp poboy!!! Wow! This one is on some of the best bread I have ever tasted! The fries were ok. My friend’s baked potato was really good as well as the oysters!!! The fried pickles were so so good with ranch!!Everything I have tried here has been grand! Our waitress was super sweet! They all work as a team and help each other out! Our drink stayed full, and we left happy! We will be back next time we are in the area!!! The porkchops are really good too.. I have had them in the past! Yummy!!
Amazing!!! Blackened redfish was unbelievable! Nice, friendly staff!
15 oysters for $20? Are you kidding me? Charged for a beer I sent back are you kidding me? So much for hospitality.
Toby taylor. Great lunch today!! dibervile business club had their meeting there today.food and the service was spectacular.
Love this place. Looking for a place that served blackened catfish….my daughter and I were shopping in d’iberville, and SIRI recommended this place for us. I loved the blackened catfish. Yes, it was highly seasoned and spicy. I found it to be delicious. The first time we went the service was excellent. The other times we go, service could be better, but the waitresses were friendly. We’ve also ordered Burbon Gumbo, Crawfish fettucine, and Cajun etouffee. All were delicious. The biggest complaint I have is the hushpuppies, which is brought out immediately with cheese sauce…..I think the oil is too hot when they are cooked. The outside looks overcooked, yet the inside is barely cooked. I would definitely recommend this place.12 Aug, 2014Blackened Catfish. Highly seasoned, spicy, pan-seared catfish
Overseasoned Food and Underwhelming Decor. I found the service very good. However, the decor was rather dated and in some cases tattered. We sat in a booth and I sunk into the seat so much my armpits were nearly resting on the table. We were going to take another booth, but most of them had torn or worn upholstery. Take a table. The serving ware was of army chow hall caliber. The food was so-so. I had a pork tenderloin which was tender, but overseasoned (a very salty taste) so much that the pork was overwhelmed – this is my general critique of Cajun cooking – they overseason so much. It was accompanied by about a dozen very small fried shrimp – so small that no shrimp flavor could be detected. The house salad was good and substantial and accompanied by an agreeable vinegary bleu cheese dressing. I substituted the cole slaw for the starch, and was rewarded with a fresh cole slaw with a touch of citrus.
