I am a fan of catfish charlie’s. Love their biscuits and jelly as well as the fried pickles. Catfish is kinda thick but it’s good and all the sides are good. Sometimes there is a long wait on the weekends.

Was great until they started using imported catfish :(GO but still love the place
Uhhh not so much.. I went there once and it was ok, except for the Catfish. The second time I went the catfish was overdone and the chicken was tough and chewy… Complaining to our server did no good, neither did complaining to the cashier. Looks like they earned every bit of their 57% like it. I blogged about the whole night on eat228 if you wanna read the whole thing. Great atmosphere, and great biscuits… Just don’t complain to the owners… Trust me.
A Crapshoot on the Catfish. Enjoy the ambience and the all you can eat feature. The drawback is the catfish – often gnarled up fillets with too much breading and overcooked, so often can’t tell it’s catfish. Because it’s very popular can have a long wait to get seated and then long wait to get served. Be careful in choosing a seat, some of the chairs are low and uncomfortable. Draft beer is a plus. Biscuits are good. Noise level is high, but you can carry-on a conversation across a table. Prices are reasonable.
I’ve been going since they opened … still as good as way back then.
