Just what long beach needs!. It is very refreshing to see a diner here in Long Beach. You can tell the owners have put alot of hard work into this place! Dining here was a very pleasant experience. The wait was a little longer than expected but well worth it. I had to get the kids burger since the adult burger had onions in the meat but it was still more than enough to fill my stomach! Overall a wonderful experience and definitely a must try!

Single Up. Only open a week or so, so experiencing some birthing pangs. Ordered up the Double D’s Big Breakfast: 3 eggs sunnyside up, 3 bacon, hash browns, wheat toast and coffee came to $6.90 with tax. A little bit of wait for the food to arrive, as I was the first sit-down customer of the day. The eggs came out a little crispy on the bottom, and the cook came out to apologize, but the yolks were nice and runny the way I like them. The bacon was very crispy, but not crumbly a slight burn on a few places.The hash browns mediocre – a rather small serving, a bit crispy on one side and not greasy. The toast was ordinary.The coffee was excellent hot, good flavor with no bitterness and comes in a substantial ceramic cup.The new occupants have done a great job of cleaning and decorating the place from the previous tenants. While not a great experience, it’s good enough and the plus is that they are open at 6 am.
