We found this place on Yelp in the middle of the mish mash over in this area of town. It has changed owners so is listed as two different places. Either way we found it to be similar in atmosphere to others in this genre elsewhere and seemed to have a family vibe in the staff so I am thinking it is family owned and run.Not crowded when we stopped in for an early dinner. Fresh rolls were good even if pre made and in the cooler. Bun Verm was good but based on other spots for the same dish, a bit noodle heavy at the expense of other items. I tried something new and the language barrier screwed me up a bit and she brought something a tad different. Crunchy chow neon noodles with a three protein combo and veggies and gravy over them. Easily enough for two and pretty tasty.Nice beer selection from Tsing Tao to Kirin Ichiban. Service was attentive even with a couple of language issues and we would return here.
My wife and I have enjoyed this comfortable restaurant twice now and have been delighted both times. Tonight we enjoyed an order of Spring Rolls (2 per order), the Raw Beef Pho (menu item P-1), Beef Chow Fun, and BBQ Pork Fried Rice. We also each ordered the Cold Vietnamese Coffee with Condensed Milk. Delicious on a hot day like today! The Spring Rolls were especially fresh, and filled with crunchy vegetables and tasty shrimp. The restaurant’s Peanut Sauce was really flavorful and perfectly completed the nicely chilled Spring Rolls. The Pho was slowly savored (using chop sticks ensured a slow go of the rich, exquisite broth), as were the Chow Fun and Fried Rice. The service in this restaurant is friendly, prompt, and professional, and restaurant seating choices include either comfortable booths or tables and chairs. I see my wife and I returning to this tasty kitchen frequently! Biloxi Bob
