Was randomly just walking around, decided to go in because of the panda on screen beckoning to me to come in. I figured Panda, cant be that bad…. that was my first mistake of many, staff are friendly enough but for record there’s nothing asian about this place. Everything is bland; has abundance of fried food if that’s your thing, everything pretty much had same flavour almost, but whatever you do, don’t try coconut shrimp it’s so much that there are no words capable of describing it; and spring roles have this cardboardy tasty goodness to it. I didn’t try dessert either but the look on my partners face pretty much summed it up for me. This place is cheap (you could probably consider it good value for money) however and unless you’re super super hungry or abit light on pocket and need to feed a small army, I’d give place a pass.

My family and I ate here on May 20, 2013, 2 adults and two children. The bill for the the 4 of us came to $47.11 and that was with only 3 drinks. The selection in my opinion compared to other lower priced buffets in the area wasn’t worth the cost. The eggdrop soup was over seasoned with salt, and the egg rolls had a funny smell to them. The lo mein was made with fetticini noodles, and the General T’so chicken was spicy hot. I have never eaten it spicy before from any restaurant. This place does not devein their boiled or fried shrimp. The wait staff kept taking our drinks to the back to fill them up, they wouldn’t bring new drinks or a pitcher to the table, and so I wasn’t pleased with that. We thought we would try the place out since its new but this experience leaves us not wanting to return to this place again.Edit 25 June 2017 – D’Iberville location:Wife and I returned because they have snow crab legs on the weekend that are cheaper than a casino. I ate all crab with the exception of a small plate of lo mein. My wife had coconut shrimp and by that evening she was throwing up profusely, with pain in her abdominal area. We are pretty sure she got food poisoning. She also mentioned the eggdrop soup was greenish in color.

My family was seated right away. The first issue I had was a strong overwhelming smell. That should have gave me a warning. The boiled shrimp was bland no flavor absolutely gross. The boiled crawfish was little to no flavor. I tried the fried shrimp, a very plain overcooked waste of seafood. My whole family couldnt believe there wasnt one thing on the buffet decently cooked or seasoned. There was fruit flies flying around the buffet. The food runners was bothering customers with whispering and laughter. I found the waitresses were rude and unfriendly. I wont visit this establishment again.
