I absolutely love eating here! The broccoli cheddar chicken is to die for, the turnips are delish, and the hashbrown casserole mmmmmmmm! My mouth just waters when I think about it. The staff is extremely friendly and that definitely adds to the customers experience!
Ugh. Stopped in Cracker Barrel — ordered the chicken fried steak b-fast with eggs over medium– not only were the eggs cold when the plate arrived, but there was clear liquid around them so I sent them back — the next set were the same so I sent those back — the 3rd set came overhard — with the lousy chicken fried steak and tasteless gravy I was done and aske for a manager and explained to him so he voided my check and I left. Unfortunately I picked up some peanut brittle thinking it would be really good since it was 3.99 -got it hope and opened up the bag and poured it out on a plate — there were exactly 18 peanuts in the entire bag of peanut brittle so I would avoid purchasing that from Cracker Barrel. Not sure if I’ll go again and try anything else.my suggestion: if your food is not hot and up to what Cracker Barrel says it wants it to be–tell your server or the manager and send it BACK. I’ve recently had the open face roast beef sandwich with their mashed potatoes and it was very good (needed pepper but that’s fine with me). I’ll try the meat loaf on a day when its a lunch special.
Just bad is all I can say. The service was good but the food was just terrible. Definitely not a home cooked meal taste.
The food is always soaking wet.. it’s as if the cook drench your plate with water before they bring it to you…and the location is creepy, next to a old multi plex, run down strip mall, and truck stop…the kind of place a dead hooker might turn up…eeeegad!
Get food there off and on. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes it is bad. The last time there my ham was all fat and no meat. If you eat there don’t have any high expectations.
Best Cracker Barrel for many states around.. My wife and I really enjoy this Cracker Barrel. Their Rib Eyes are always perfect and their service is always friendly and helpful no matter if your eating there or taking it home.
Not good. The chicken was burnt. The food had no taste.
