Hole-in-the-wall!!! The restaurants walls are plastered with thousands of one-dollar bills and the honky tonk country music in the back ground further reminds you that you are literally in the middle of no where. BUT…the food wins. The fresh steaks over the wood fire make it worth the ten minute drive south on 49. For a change of pace, order the seared tuna steak; delicious delicious delicious!!
Best Ribs Anywhere. I’ve traveled a lot as a consulting engineer, but the best ribs I’ve ever had (KC & Memphis included) is at Donanelle’s in Hattiesburg.
Mine was great.. I went a few months ago and the food was great. We ordered out however but Im about to do it again right now.
Bad. I love ribs. Mine were inedible. They were overlooked, dry, and although cole slaw was the side listed on the menu I got potato salad which I do not like. Upon telling the waitress that I could not eat the ribs she swept them up and offered me no substitute or discount. The other people at he table got fried catfish which they said was just ok. I would never go back
DISGUSTING. Crap service and 1 waitress running the whole place and she was painstakingly rude. No steak sauce, no salad dressing, and no cheese. No anything. The steak was salty!!! So much salt that you couldn’t even take another bite. The food was gross and service was nonexistent. They need to go out of business. This place is horrible and expensive. Our food was served on paper plates. Save your money and tastebuds for somewhere else!
Dont like it. The steak was too salted if they woulda had some kind of steak sauce it would have been edible. It was also a cheap cut of meat and too high.
This place isn’t as good as it used to be. Our cheese sticks were burnt, our steaks were burnt on outside and raw on the inside. The service was terrible. I had to get up twice and get our own drinks because the waitress was to busy sitting at the bar talking to the cook. We were the ONLY people in the place too. Very disappointing and made me sick to pay our $90 bill.
