This place remains one of my favorites. Always done right, and the smoked meats never disappoint. Every time we are passing anywhere through Hattiesburg, we stop here.
When I walked in and had to pay in advance to a snappy cashier it was a buffet but had no idea how bad it could be. Unfortunately the food was below substandard. They have a carving station in the middle of the restaurant with brisket and ribs on them that tasted like they were cooked in an easy bake oven. I was expecting to see more seafood on the buffet but could only find fried catfish lchicken livers and gizzards. The service sucked too. Save yourself the disappointment and seek other places in Hattiesburg to eat.
