One of my favorite places to eat in Hattiesburg. If you know Indian food, you’ll be grateful to have this place in the Burg. If you’ve never tried Indian, the lunch buffet is a perfect first try (do yourself the favor and try it). There are always at least 4-6 protein dishes (chicken, lamb, goat, etc.) with tons of flavor and not over spiced. Side dishes are also flavorful, such as their exceptional rice. The buffet size provides PLENTY of variety and asked them to keep everything fresh and high quality. Fresh, warm naan at your table is a great too, almost like the best ever version of a dinner roll… In regard to price, it is true, Indian Delight is more expensive than the fast food value menu, but for less than $20 (10.99 buffet I think – about the price of Chinese joints in town) you can get fresh, flavorful food made with real ingredients. Enjoy!
The food was delicious, service was excellent, just the right amount of heat with tons of flavor! The nan garlic bread was very tasty. I ordered a dish with lamb and long grain rice, my wife ordered a chicken dish which had a yogurt based red curry sauce, both were great. We even got samosa for an appetizer, highly recommended!
The lunch buffet is a decent price considering the food is really amazing! Most things on the buffet are a bit spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. Great authentic taste. Recommended for the awesome food!
Oh my word!!! This place is great. I love Indian food and was a little afraid to try it here in Hattie, but I was not disappointed. The garlic naan is incredible and if your looking for vegan options #704 on the menu is delicious. Will be returning
I could go on and on about how good this restaurant is!! Not only is the food spot on with other well known Indian restaurants I’ve been to across the country, but the service is great, too! I recommend the butter chicken, paneer, tandoori chicken, and every naan they have. The sweet naan is the perfect ending to the meal. I highly recommend!!
Great Indian food. Decently authentic – definitely more so than I thought an Indian buffet place could be in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.Wish they were spicier and had more options. Their prices keep going up, though – but the service has improved.
