Great management. I went there for the first time recently and my experience was amazing. I was waiting for my food and the manager came and handed me a cup to drink whatever I would like while waiting. I did not wait long, my food was done like about 5 minutes. That’s what I call fast service.
Good place to grab a quick bite. Sandwiches and salads are always good and fresh and I very much enjoy the spicy chicken pizza. I am not however a huge fan of their soups. Nothing personal, for me to order soup in a restaurant, it really has to knock my socks off! Everything else I have tried on the menu has been very good. The staff are always friendly and provide quick service!
This is a happening place, wow. First time ever to visit a newks. It was excellent. Soup, pizza, panini all wonderful.
LOVE IT!!! This place has the fully package. Delicious food, Spotless, great prices, a friendly smiling helpful staff. I travel A LOT, when I was in town I ate at MANY MANY different restaurants in Hattiesburg. I was so disappointed in food quality, prices, staff, and cleanliness of the restaurants in this area etc. Then I found Newks!! I will admit I am HORRIBLE about special requests on food (add this, take away this, box it like this) BAD. I was able to sample the soups, so I loved my decisions. Over less than one week I ordered 15 special request combo meals… THEY GOT EVERYTHING PERFECT EVERY TIME. The staff is always making sure everything is tidy and customers are taken care. I hope they continue to open more restaurants all over so I know exactly where to spend my money. I am still really impressed with the staff!!! My favorites: lobster bisque, veggie sandwich, Italian sub, ganache brownies, Cesar dressing, chili (lots of meat!), great quality bread, croutons, salads, breadsticks, big crispy, tippah county caviar, loaded potato soup, pimento bacon Mac & cheese. I didn’t get a chance to order pizza while I was there. The pizza is what the other customers were telling me was their favorite. There were many things I didn’t get a chance to order because I was already addicted to the Italian and veggie sandwiches. You can tell this place cares about their customers. I don’t often write reviews. This place beyond deserved the Thank you.

Great food and always clean. Newks is always clean and the staff are very nice. The soups are just wonderful. We love the sandwiches but the pizzas are a little bit on the greasy side. Lots of items on the menu to choose from too.
Clean and Quick. Newk’s is my favorite place to eat lunch in Hattiesburg. It is quick and clean with tasty food! Unfortunately, it’s a little pricey.
