Our visit was very good several weeks ago, but started out a little bumpie. My filet wasn’t a good cut of meat, and about the time I was going to complain to my waitress, the Manager came by…he brought me a new steak and baked potato, which made all the difference in the world. The new filet was great. TheOnly thing I didn’t like was the side salad which was all iceburg lettuce.

I love Hattiesburg Outback. Outback has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a child. The food is always consistent and fresh. The Hattiesburg location is always on point with service and food.
Pot Calling Kettle?. 84, judging from your own writing, try learning some grammar and punctuation yourself before casting stones; and if your pal didn’t like fish, why order tilapia in the first place? Thought it was a hamburger, perhaps?
Consistently good and they will fix it if any problem. I’ve never had a bad meal at an Outback — one time a friend did not like her tilapia dish and the server asked to replace it with something else-my friend is not a fan of fish –so she was delighted to hand it over and have the Alice Springs Chicken which she loves-we both love the salad(s) — my fav is the caesar–hers is the green garden –she loves the bread, I skip it and only eat my croutons in my salad and we have sometimes split a desert but usually with the great salads, entrees, veggies and/or lovely backed potatoe or other carb – who has room for desert? When a friend ordered the larger size prime rib and took most of it home-he had dessert and it was delish — I think some of the people judging from their spelling/grammar – would be happier with a hamburger steak –yes lobster tail can be small – I pick up lobster tail at Corner Market and do it myself – and the live lobsters at the Asian Market near Honeybaked ham — nothing like tossing that suckah into the big huge pot myself — clarify the butter, slice open the fresh lemon and make sure the white wine and sourdough bread from Breadsmith is ready for the soft buttah and its dinnah time for one hungry gal! (But alas I detest cajun/creole seasonings in any way…..no matter what they are on I’ll go no thanks! we all have our own preferences don’t we?
Best steak. Love everything from service to foodOne dislike thing is female server always mess up the order everytime we are in Outback for some reason…
Kitchen Problems. Easy little things getting messed up: undercooked & greasy tortilla chips, cold baked potato and vegetables, Teriyaki steak wasn’t good and very dry, had a very bad food experience on Mother’s day as well. They are cutting some steaks way too small. Wait staff is doing a good job. Didn’t complain but won’t go back anytime soon.
