Stonewalls in Hattiesburg is under new Managment. The brothers that own the Stonewalls in Popularville, MS have purchased it.(To my knowledge) still has the same great tasty as before. But… There are several new items on the menu! Also, they are open Monday thru Saturday. Where they use to be closed mon. and Tuesday. Check me out! You want be disappointed!
Worth the detour. My family and I were traveling from Texas to Gulf Shores and decided to look on the internet for Mississippi BBQ restaurants that we might be passing close by. After reading the reviews we decided to stop at Stonewall’s and we were not disappointed. It is a little sweeter than what we are used to, but the whole family loved it! We tried the pulled pork sandwich, ribs and sausage and found them to be excellent. The cheesy potatoes, baked beans and bread pudding was better than we could have ever imagined. Enjoyed talking to the owner and other customers. If we are ever close to this part of the state again, we will definitely make a detour to Stonewall’s BBQ.
