My night started off with a bubbly, warm welcome from the waiting staff. The environment is a very clean, elegant establishment. The slow jazz music sets the mood for an excellent evening. I decided to start off with an appetizer, first good choice of the night. Before we knew it, the mains were coming our way. The main was AMAZING, I am pleased to say it is the best pasta in town, by far. There is a particular Italian place here in Hattiesburg, (which are owned by the same families throughout Hub City) that I love and have a great relationship with. I have to say the Twisted Skillet takes the cake for the newest, tastiest restaurant. I had the create your own pasta with chicken, tenderloin, veggies, and topped with a delightful creole cream sauce. It’s obviously a cream based sauce with a spicy kick to it. Second GREAT choice of the night. The Twisted Skillet is an upscale dining experience for a great price. As a college student, it was quite affordable for a nice date night or to welcome friends to Hattiesburg or even just to enjoy a great meal with the family! Overall, what a great experience! Amazing staff, cuisine, atmosphere, service, price, and choice! HIGHLY recommend to locals and visitors! This is a true representation of our beautiful city, beautiful people, and beautiful food! Please take the time to stop by and enjoy yourself!
