I keep seeing all these negative reviews about Campbell’s. I have never had a bad experience with them, although, admittedly, I have never tried their cakes. I will say that the banana pudding cheesecake is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten and I highly recommend it to anyone.

This makes me so sad. Campbell’s cakes have been present at ALL of my birthdays (late 30s). They used to be white, spongy, sugar icing, traditional cakes. The cake I ordered this year was wet, raw, and had a strange texture. The icing was claimed to be buttercream, but it wasn’t. I was so disappointed. I will never order a cake again. I will say, however, the iced sugar cookies are very good.

Still not good. I gave it another try, this time I got a sheet cake. The icing was good, the cake did not have a strong flavor like the last one, but it was still wet. Not as wet as the first one, but it’s like the cakes are not cooked long enough. I’m glad I did not waste my money on this one. I will not be back, I’m sorry, I tried twice and they are not worth the money.27 Aug, 2013VERY APOLOGETIC. I must say I talked to Mitchell at Campbell’s and told him how bad everything was and he was very kind to give me credit for another visit. I told myself that I wasn’t, but I will give him another try. I do have another Birthday coming up in a few weeks and we are going to see if it is better this go round. I understand we do not always have a perfect day everyday and I was in the food business for many years and I tried to do right if anyone had a bad experience, so I really appreciate everything Mitchell has done. Thank you Mitchell and I will be seeing you in a few weeks.19 Aug, 2013Nasty cake. All my mother wanted for her birthday was a bakery cake. She saw Campbell’s ad a lot in her magazines and asked me to bring her one for her birthday. It was so strong with almond flavor it would about choke you. It was so gummy that it looked like it wasn’t cooked all the way. It was supposed to be 10in round and was 8in. I paid 35.00 plus tax and no one could eat the cake and we had to throw it out. It was the worse cake and birthday for her. Waste of money and I will never NEVER use them again.

I have worked at a bakery in tupelo for many years I just moved to Jackson and have really been missing my sweets. Until I found Campbell’s today, it reminds me of my bakery from home. Small, quirky, friendly, everything is made from scratch fresh you can tell! I am extremely particular when it comes to my baked goods due to work and Campbell’s impressed! The owner helped me and was so friendly! This is exactly what I was looking for! I got the iced tea cakes AMAZING, the kitchen sink cookie AMAZING, the cupcakes BEYOND AMAZING!

Such a wonderful bakery. My daughter insisted we go in since I had not been in in a few years. It was wonderful. The little bakery that I remember has grown and the food is SO much better than it used to be. The iced teacakes are just as I remember them from years ago, and everything else we had was fine. I would have liked the old fashioned caramel brownies like Mr. Campbell had, but the caramel blondies were delicious. Homemade caramel made all the difference.
